The last three Sundays of January I was in British Columbia, Canada. I was temporarily over-seeing the ministry of Richmond Bible Baptist Church which is pastored by missionary Will Rogers. It was a wonderful opportunity to minister to an international congregation of primarily Asian believers. Chinese, Sri Lankan, Filipino & Caucasian believers are serving the Lord together there with great joy and unity. I praise the Lord to see the scope of the gospel's impact around the world.
Thou art worthy ... for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
Please be praying that the Lord would give us patience and wisdom as we are back in the USA. We continue to hear great news from our churches in Thailand. The believers there are continuing to meet around God's word and encourage one another in the Lord. Hearing good news from Thailand makes us even more anxious to return there as soon as possible.
Beginning in February, I will be traveling and in mission conferences for almost one month. Joy will not be able to travel with me as she will be here in North Carolina caring for her parents. This is an excellent opportunity to challenge many about the great need for continued gospel outreach in Thailand.
Being back in America reminds us again of the drastic differences between the USA and Thailand. It is great to see the many churches here in America who are preaching the gospel. By contrast, there are so few churches of any kind in Thailand. Pray that many more in Thailand will soon hear the good news of Jesus Christ.
Yours for Thailand
