Dear Praying Friends
Our time here in the USA is quickly coming to a close and we are busy getting things in order for our return to Thailand this month. As we go back to Thailand, only our youngest daughter Jasmine will be returning with us. Below are some specific things that we would appreciate your prayers for during this time.
Our oldest daughter Alena has completed her bachelor's degree and is now making plans for missionary service. With that goal in mind, she is enrolling in a master's level course at Columbia International University and will begin her classes in June. Please be praying that she can find housing and finances for tuition.
Our 24 year old son, Gabriel will be moving to North Carolina to stay with relatives there. Gabriel has some learning disabilities that hinder his ability to live on his own. He is anxious to find a job and get settled in his new home.
We are now re-applying for our Thai visas. Please pray that all of the government requirements will be met and that the renewal process will go smoothly.
As soon as we return to Thailand we will be looking for a house to rent. We hope to find a house that will serve as a residence and a place for church meetings.
The cost for air travel is steadily increasing. This unexpected trip back to the USA has drained our furlough fund. Also, the American dollar is now worth much less in Thailand than it was last year. Pray that our financial needs will be met.
Since living in Thailand for more than 27 years, we are anxious to get back “home”. This brief time back in the USA has been worthwhile and God has taught us many things. We look forward to continuing to partner together with you as we serve the Thai people.
Yours for Thailand
